Privacy policy

Last updated 29 October 2026

MapPitch is a software service run by Xeventure IT Solutions (“we”, “us”), Main Road, Thannikode Complex, Sultan Bathery, Kerala 673592, India. This policy explains what information MapPitch handles, why, and the choices you have. Contact us at info@xeventure.com with any question about it.

Who this policy covers

  • Customers: businesses and people who hold a MapPitch account.
  • Contacted businesses: businesses that a customer finds and contacts through MapPitch, and the people who answer for them.
  • Visitors to mappitch.com.

Information we collect

About businesses found through MapPitch. Public business details from Google Maps listings (name, address, phone number, website, rating, number of reviews, category, opening hours) and from the business's own public website (for example a contact email address, whether the site works on phones, and whether it offers online booking). We do not buy contact lists, and we do not collect information from personal social media profiles.

Messages. The WhatsApp messages and emails sent to and received from contacted businesses, delivery and read status, and any opt-out request.

Bookings. If someone books a call, the name, phone number, email and time they give us.

Customer accounts. Login details, business name, the WhatsApp Business number and email inbox the customer connects, and settings for each campaign.

Website visitors. Standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) kept for security. mappitch.com does not use advertising or tracking cookies.

How we use it

  • To find businesses that match a customer's campaign, and to work out how visible they are on Google.
  • To write and send a relevant first message, and to handle replies, bookings and opt-outs.
  • To run, secure and improve the service, and to meet legal obligations.

Our legal basis is the legitimate interest of customers in offering relevant business services to other businesses, the performance of our contract with customers, and consent where the law requires it.

Services we use

We share information only with the providers that make MapPitch work, and only what each needs:

  • Meta Platforms (WhatsApp Business Platform) to send and receive WhatsApp messages.
  • Google (Maps Platform, and Google Calendar when a customer connects it) to find businesses and to schedule calls.
  • Anthropic (Claude) to analyse public business information and draft messages. Anthropic does not use this data to train its models under its commercial terms.
  • Vultr, which hosts the servers where MapPitch stores data.
  • The email provider each customer connects (for example Google Workspace) to send their emails.

We do not sell personal information.

How long we keep it

Business and message records stay while the customer's account is active, so that the same business is not contacted twice. Opt-out records are kept permanently so that the request is always honoured. When a customer closes their account we delete their data within 30 days, except opt-out records and anything we must keep by law.

Your choices

  • Stop messages: reply STOP on WhatsApp, or use the unsubscribe link in any email.
  • See, correct or delete your information: follow the steps on our data deletion page, or email us.

We answer requests within 30 days. If you are in the European Union or the UK you can also complain to your local data protection authority, and in India to the Data Protection Board.

Security

Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS), access tokens are stored on our servers only, and staff access is limited to what is needed to run the service.

Children

MapPitch is a business tool and is not meant for anyone under 18.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above, and tell customers by email if the change is significant.
